Although this blog entry arrives very late, I'm happy to report that I released a set of band demos on 23rd June 2014, which coincided with Frozen Coco's third anniversary. The demos span different eras of the band's career, and they provide an insight into how certain songs from the group's catalogue sounded in their working stages; this compilation includes previously unheard material as well.
The decision to set about this project came about when I was contacted by several fans about the band's demise, with a question mark as to whether we'd be releasing new material. For now, I have uploaded these 10 tracks to please the fans, but perhaps there will be more demos released in the future. Frozen Coco, however, still remains dead.
I'm sorry things have been awfully slow here lately, but that is because my priorities have moved on since I ended the band last December. My focus has shifted to my solo career – my debut triple album can be expected to be released later this year, although a specific date is uncertain as of yet. Therefore, I'm afraid all this extra Frozen Coco work has taken a back seat, as we are no longer an active band.

On 27 December, I made a declaration announcing the disbandment of the rock group, along with the band's final release. "The Valediction", our seventh single in all, was released the same day the statement was issued. From the forum discussion days up until the privacy of e-mail discussions, it was quite a time the group had, and I thank the fans for that. You can find out more in the "Forums" tab on the website.

After nearly five months of no releases, Frozen Coco debuted their first full-length album on June 23, 2013. The band members used "different techniques than before while recording", ensuring the highest quality tracks. Furthermore, many instrumental sections for songs were improvised, which enabled each player to add their own creative rendition. The eponymous 14 track album celebrated the band's two year anniversary, and contains nine previously unheard originals. Click here to give it a listen!

Though things around here are becoming increasingly neglected, I can assure you that is only because the quality of our work is going up and leaving less room for finer things like updating this site. We have worked very hard to bring you "Ellipsis", which was recorded a few months back. This song perfectly illustrates the betterment of the band's work on an uphill tangent.

Though this announcement is very late, Frozen Coco's second double single was released on 12.12.12 and is available for streaming on our usual release sites. Bas and I had a great time recording for it and it turned out great!
